The Re-encounter.
 
After Swantje's adoption was finalized, she started her journey home.
 Upon her arrival, though, she seemed quite sad.....
it appears in the orphanage she stayed at,
she had befriended a little kitty, who was an orphan himself.
His name was Tabby.


In a short time they had become best of friends,
and she now felt she had betrayed him by leaving.
She had left so suddenly he hadn't even found out.
 Her heart ached wondering how he felt, now that she was gone..
...without a word. She sobbed uncontrollably......and I felt really bad.

However, as I unpacked her suitcase, I noticed a strange thing moving,
 it was a round little sock, and I was a bit worried at first,
as socks normally don't move around. Soon enough, though,
 I saw something crawl out.
It was a little kitty and his name was Tabby.
I was so happy for Swantje, wait til she found out.
He apparently had snuck into her suitcase the night before,
 and she didn't even know.

Tabby somehow found his way to the living room where Swantje was,
as he heard her talking. He quickly hugged her leg.
Swantje, though, hadn't seen him.


All of a sudden she was startled, at feeling something on her leg.

She looked down....and to her surprise,
it was Tabby, live and in person.


She at first was so shocked she kept staring.
 She thought she might be dreaming,
 and didn't want to be disappointed
if she would reach down to touch him,
and he wasn't there, so she kept just staring at him.


She finally had the courage to see if this truly was Tabby on her foot
......and It Was!:)



They were, both, so excited, they just started chatting away,
and he never let go of her.




 

 

They were so engrossed in the conversation,
that they even skipped through dinner.
 

Luckily they gave me a chance to just snap a pic,
and then right back to talking they went.

 

They sat all afternoon, just reminiscing.

In the end, they were both just very happy, as they now could be together, forever, in their new *home*.
